Huge game in the context of our season. We don’t deserve to be anywhere near finals but a convincing performance against one of the better sides in the comp and a win against the Sixers could at least repair some of the damage they have caused the fans. Labuschagne inclusion should at least add a bit of composure you would think. Strange decision to drop Lalor who has been one of our better bowlers all season.

Anyway Sixers by 10 wickets

Why would you drop Lalor for Swepson when you have Labbers and Renshaw who are capable part time spinners if you wanted another spin option? Unless this is a spinners track I find the move bizarre to say the least. Especially as Swepson hasn’t exactly been a top line spinner at T20 level. He leaks runs galore as good as anyone.

Pierson should consider himself lucky he can keep because if Joe Burns were capable with the gloves, Jimmy would not be playing tonight.

Well batting first, let’s hope we can move on from those collapses and put up a good total. Too much batting quality to be posting sub 150’s
