The MLB now make it an automatic ejection for the fan if they get in the way of a catching opportunity.
While it was an ‘entertainer’ in tonight’s incident he probably should’ve been given an early finish for his behaviour as well.

Yeah. Been that way all season. The other that have been tried didn't do any better. Livingstone, M Marsh and Inglis - after that nothing.
Chicago Cubs were 1 catch away from effectively sealing their first World Series in decades (1945). He leant across the fence and prevented his team from ending the inning with a catch. Their opponent made a number of home runs that same innings and won the match and the series.
Yeah. Numbers 8-11 have been more useful than our middle order. Swap them around I say.

Got home from the game and the more I look at it, the more frustrated I am with the lack of game awareness. How the * could Voges not address the slow run rate, and how did Bancroft and Agar particularly not have any idea that they had to go for it?
I get that Strikers bowled well, so it's not a matter of winning from that position, but to see the overs put because they didnt even attempt the win is ****ed.

Good result for Hobart.
Perth and Thunder play each other in their last game.
So Hobart need to beat Adelaide and need either of the Melbourne teams to beat the Heat to make the finals.

Would be better for Hobart if the Renegades beat the Sixers then Adelaide would be guaranteed second place and essentially have nothing to play for in the last game so might potentially play a weakened side.

All about momentum so I doubt anyone will mess with it on the eve of the finals.
Maybe they could rest Siddle, give their other quicks time bowling at the death, and bring in O'Connor in case they want to play two spinners at some stage in the finals but aside from that I don't see a lot of logic in them changing the team up even if it turns out to be a dead rubber.

Strikers will be unchanged regardless. It’ll be 5 days between games anyway if they end up 2nd.
