it's another one of those team batting first has the best chance to asses the pitch and adapt their bowling to the conditions. From about the 2nd over Henriques was talking to his bowlers about it being low and slow and they bowled and set their fields that way.

So what changes are we making for next season to allow Collingwood Stars to win a final?
Automatic qualification and hosting rights for the final if the Stars finish in the top 5. Teams can only field one Australian international in a match against he Stars.

So what changes are we making for next season to allow Collingwood Stars to win a final?
Let them play the majority of games at the MCG and only make them go interstate a couple of times. Sign an agreement with the MCG to ensure they have home finals and all clubs outside Victoria have to travel each year for the GF even if they are the top team.

Anyway I am being silly now, no sporting code in Australia would be that unfair.

I like the new finals format. The Stars had a bad game finishing first and they get another chance, but it cost them hosting rights of the final. The second chance for the top finishing teams is one of my favourite things about the AFL and I'm glad its carried over to BBL.
