This is what buried you. Arrogant trash. At home. Two superstars back in (marsh x 2 lol) no top run scorer (D’arcy). The commentary team made excuses all night. What about a well done for a state trat ******* deserves it.

lol thats just bancrofts personality, think you're taking that too seriously

I did but mind you the clubs I played for weren’t great so we celebrated a club not showing up as a premiership

Exactly, everyone cares about winning, no matter what level they're playing at.

I think it's a bit disrespectful to suggest professional athletes wouldn't care about winning the BBL (not to mention behind the times, given what big business the BBL circuit is lately). It's not like this is the AFLX before their real season, this is increasingly becoming the real season for many.

do not Know the gut ,But very rude too me

Thanks to all the Westcoast animals to THE HURRICANES best wishes going forward
great team game/ captain by the best Capt MR GEORGE BAILEY in aussie cricket
Arrogance when you started with M Marsh 0/53 and 3 runs (that will keep him in the aussie squads )

Wut

Well done Hobart, too good on the night. That’s the beauty of T20s!

Pretty sure they are well respected TooBlue.

If they are the best team in the BBL7 competition is another question and maybe seems an over confident and brash statement from Bancroft, stats don’t lie but, they finished on top with only 2 losses and have set the benchmark in the past 6 BBL’s winning 3 and losing 2 finals.

They were just outclassed and outworkrd today, didn’t turn up and picked a very poor day to do it, expected to get the W with inclusions like the Marsh’s.

Not saying they aren’t talented but only dumb people think its okay to poke the bear. Bancroft is dumb. How many times have we read, seen, or witnessed sports people claiming the pedestal Cameron put himself on only to be outclassed on the day. Idiot.

Wade was excellent tonight, he made Johnson and everyone else his bitch. McDermott and Christian then continued making everyone their bitch.

Our batting was pretty pathetic. Klinger, Bancroft, Turner & Voges all got themselves out (Bailey's fielding effort was top notch but it was a ridiculous run)

So who now had the title of biggest figjam of Australian cricket, flat track bully warner, wade or Bancroft?

Can’t be stuffed reading 40 pages, has anyone commented on the abysmal desicion by Voges to field after winning the toss?

Mind boggling.

Umm scorchers only batted first once all year... May as well go with whats been working. The only abysmal decision was giving mitch marsh the new pill

No idea why the Scorchers didn't pick a spinner. At the game they felt horribly one paced on a wicket that was coming onto the bat. Once batsmen were in they were able to pick the monotony of the attack and score in and over the gaps with ease. Pathetic by the "superstars" Perth brought back in, they just rolled up disinterested and off the pace.

LOL. Read my other posts in this thread. Hardly arrogant yet u pick the tounge in cheek comment about a widely disliked cricketer. He played well and stuck it up a lot of people. Good for him. Still a tosser.

they were the best team in the comp this season, and they have been the best team in the history of the comp. tall poppy syndrome here....this is why aussie sport is so ******* generic and players generally robotic and cliched in every ******* interview.

and home? what is this the AFL? they may have been other factors such as Johnson not given the new ball, not batting first, and ******* up team balance with additions and international omissions, but Scorchers home this season is the WACA ground. home ground advantage, familiar surrounds, known predictable conditions, and a known pitch that has been bedded into the earth for decades was given up for generic venue with a relatively new pitch. game(s) should have been played across river and the move made next season.

That was an odd decision particularly when you considered that in the ODI as soon as the pace went off the ball scoring became more difficult.
