Rehan Ahmed throwing his wicket away too.

I am glad I went McDermott for my keeper instead of Wade. Bancroft is a batter as I have Clarke as my bench keeper for round 3, so I move him into the WKT spot next round, then when Hobart are done with their second double, McDermott will have generated good cash.

Need a big score from Captain Owen tonight and hopefully a better score from Rehan Ahmed who was shit in Hobart's last game.

Sams is my flex player and I have Dwarshuis in my starting team, both have played T20s for Australia so they aren't all that bad.

Oh I will be keeping Sams in. You cant carry both Dwarshius and Sams. As someone said, Sams scores run.

Sams will get up to 160k plus.

Sorry how does the Break Even Work for Stoin?

This is what I see:

View attachment 2498458

So your telling me if I pick him before round 2, it will automatically generate cash?
Stoin has a breakeven of -30.

This means whatever he scores in round 2 above -30 will increase his price.

If he was to score 116 as an example as predicted he would increase $32 000 in round 3 making him $199 600 in round 3.

The lower the break even the more likely a high price rise just like the higher the break even the more likely a price drop in the following round.

Is $32k risk-free pretty much, big in the context of a Super Coach BBL season?

I was considering bringing him for Round 3 for the Stars double. My initial thoughts this round was to bring in the maximum amount of Brisbane and Thunder players.

There's normally a cheapie on a double most weeks that you can grab to afford the expensive guys

But once you start getting up over 200k it can be hard to reach some of them. You want the big guns on the doubles more than maxing out with just anyone imo

Anyone who bats in a good spot and bowls regularly on a double almost has to fall over (or get a game washed out) not to score well

Cooked my season by forgetting when it started. I was 3 hours into a flight from Dubai to Melbourne when I saw someone watching the Sixers-Scorchers game, then it hit me that I hadn't updated my team since I did an extremely quick draft without thinking much a month prior. Sure enough, when I checked after getting off the plane I had Abbott, Neser and Curran on field lol. Also traded Bancroft to Wade in a desparate attempt for points and had Weibgen stuck on the bench just to rub it in.

My thinking if you want to maximise your Round 2 score , you don't pick Stoinis. If your in it for the long term, to generate cash, and to prepare for the double - you pick Stoinis. At the moment Im struggling to see even if a bit of cash generation of $32,000 benefit for Round 3, if its worth considering picking him , especially with the doubles of the Thunder and Heat in Round 2.

I'm looking at trading in Warner, Bancroft and Shadab for Babar, Philippe and Dwarshuis.

I already have Sams and 4 Heat players with Munro, Renshaw, Bartlett and Wildermuth.

I'm assuming that Warner will be back for the Sydney Smash tomorrow, if he isn't I might pick Stoinis instead.

If picking him now costs you a big dog on the Rd 2 double then yeah I agree

I can already get everyone i want on the double and get Stoinis instead of getting say a Munro or Renshaw type so Im getting him this week

Also a small factor to keep in mind is the Sydney derby will have some rain around looking at the forecast. (And the Canes v Gades game will have alot of rain for those with a heap of Canes)

Thats the first I have heard of rain in the Canes v Gades game. You do realise this game is being played in Geelong right?
