140 not going to be enough at Optus given you can chase it comfortably with 1s and 2s. Our top order batting needs some serious work if we’re going to contend

Who replaces Roussow and FAF?

To be fair you don’t have to most times as you bowl teams out

Fafs been pretty poor in his stint tbh. Would be nice having C.Green and M.Marsh available
So they lose lyth FAF and Roussou

That's going to be hard without Marsh and Green

Yeah we’d be odds on favourites to not lose another game if he and Green were available. No idea who comes in without them though

Agar could bat at 7 so wouldn’t need too much.
Bancroft and Inglis can open, Hardie can bat up order and Turner probably has to go up given his form.

Bancroft
Inglis
Hardie
Turner
Hobson
Eskinazi
A Agar

I'd still be worried as Perth if Gilkes and Davies hang around a while as they can also score quickly.
It's 116 off 97 currently, not an extreme chase. If those two get a decent portion of the runs, someone like Ross or Cutting can easily come in and finish with a little cameo.
Yeh this. They needed that 3rd wicket way earlier to break this partnership. It's too far gone now and the rest of the lineup can just cruise from here.

I'd rather us defend than chase every day of the week.
On what basis though?
One huge score but the rest has been great bowling and steady batting this tournament.
We are a bowling side, bowl first.
We absolutely can’t bat first once we lost the guts of the batting order. Full reliance on bowling.
