No Sydney team, so the standard should be poor, but it may be close. :D

But then it is Renegades (who are going for a three-peat as well this season) so we may see a more lopsided result than game one.:D

The thing with this Sydney Sixers side, they have the balance of players who are unlikely to leave for national duty, and they are probably the next tier in line if chosen for national selection.

I hate to say it but after 2 games, the Stars and Brisbane teams look likely for the bottom 2. Stars with a bit more upside now with Haris Rauf likely to play this season.

no Prestwidge which is a bit of a surprise.

Is it just me or the batting depth of alot of teams this season a lot thinner than usual?

Harper, McKenzie, Fraser-McGurk is handy, Nabi is an all rounder - they are all OK with the bat.

But i don't rate that batting line up of the Renegades

On paper, Adelaide batting look a bit stronger than the Renegades.

Adelaide Strikers (Playing XI): Jake Weatherald, Matthew Short, Harry Nielsen(w), Jonathan Wells, Ryan Gibson, Daniel Drew, George Garton, Rashid Khan, Daniel Worrall, Wes Agar, Peter Siddle(c)

im guessing he plays for the Renegades this season? Ex-Scorcher reject.

Strikers boom recruit.👍😎

‘Strikers coach Jason Gillespie said: “Fawad is not travelling with us at the moment. He’s just got a little niggle in his side. We’re hopeful he’ll be available when we get back to Adelaide later in the week. We’re just getting him assessed today.”’ - from the Interweb

Drew and Garton never heard of them

Weathereld and Khan the big keys

James Pattinson a wannabe Angus Brayshaw?

That Renegades line up looks not that decent either. No Harris, No Finch to speak of. And their international imports leave little to be desired.

Harris to be fair is awful in t20 and Finch's form….is it really a loss?
