Lol , too funny

The heat rely entirely on Lynn swinging from his ass and getting away with it once in a blue moon.

Flukes the first comp and done fu** all since.

Also comparing Fletcher to any of those others is hilarious, he was an absolute last minute signing because they lost an international who despite having been dropped over a year ago, suddenly got an unexpected international call up.

So if you seriously want to compare the Stars current crop of internationals to chasing high end talent, well it’s clear you’ve got no clue.

Also I think our KP signing turned out better than Freddie or McCullum!!!

We’ve won more games without Lynn this season than with him what does that tell you?

We are actually getting contributions from a majority of our team this season rather than the usual Lynn or bust routine. Also haven’t been as reliable on Mujeebs bowling as in previous seasons as Steketee and Wildermuth have been doing a great job. All our internationals bar Lawrence have made contributions.

And we didn’t fluke our comp. We had to win it the hard way by playing away twice to more fancied teams in the semis and having to put in decent performances to win our finals. Luke Pomersbach scored a ton in the semi and Kemar Roach bowled a great spell in the final over in Perth who had the better bowling attack.

Flintoff I agree was absolutely garbage. He would actually be one of those signings that would fit the Stars MO where he is signed on name and reputation alone. KP was decent for your mob but I’m pretty sure he fell off a cliff towards the end.

I love how Bairstow is apparently an unexpected call up. It’s not like he was ever going to be out of the England setup for long considering the career he has had with them. You lot are acting as if he has been out of the England set up for a decade and that he has been undeservedly show horned into the national side to replace someone in a firing middle order.

Fletcher may have been a last minute signing but I’m pretty sure there were other options to open the batting than signing a flairy specialist fielder who dances and sometimes can middle a ball into the stands every once and while. That’s akin to us signing Flintoff just to hear him sing Elvis whilst on the player mic as that was his only entertaining contribution to our season.

Once it rains you can't do this. The DLS isn't perfect but it is the next best thing we've got. I think it works well enough for 50 over games, but the algorithm for T20s needs a bit of work. I don't know how to solve it.

But if a team were pacing themselves for a 17 overs game and it gets reduced to only 10 it means they were robbed of 7 overs. If they knew they would only get 10 overs they would have thrown the bat and scored a few more. But the thing is, did they look at the radar and know more rain was coming, in which case the rain delay was not unexpected but gambled upon.

I don't know what the answer is to make a genuine fooproof system. Not allow teams a rain radar perhaps??

For every two overs you lose a wicket, in last nights case the stars chase the exact heat score but 5 down would be all out.
And why are bowlers restricted? They should be able to bowl their 4 overs no matter how many overs the game is restricted to.
It really is just Mickey Mouse stuff.

See i dont mind the over restrictions but it has to be known in advance. E.g the Stars last night come in thinking Zampa/Rauf etc all have 4, then after the rain comes only some of them can bowl 4.

At least in the second innings of 10, we know there's a 2 over per bowler or something like that. The unfairness comes when it changes through an innings.

Once the innings has started, each bowler should be able to bowl their maximum 4.

If we know in advance it's a 10 over game, each bowler can bowl their maximum 2 regardless if it gets shortened to 7 for example.
