Disagree. Pitches offered him * all, terrible place to debut as a bowler. His 1 major flaw was he lacked control, but that's always been the case. The main problem was he didn't have the experience to create a wicket. I suspect we could have sent any spinner other than Lyon and they'd have fared similarly.

Problem is 6 an over is way too much and there are better options he had chances on wickets that did offer something for accurate spinners
