Nope, disagree. They've clearly got control of the ball and their body. Wasn't the case in this instance. See the case of Gibbs at the World Cup for an instance when this wasn't the case.

The pace some throw it up after catching it its almost one action. Particually in cases like that roll the player throws it mid act of the roll to celebrate.

Nowhere near the same - he lost control of the ball before he’d stopped the process of completing the catch, he didn’t intentionally throw the ball up or let it pop out.

The fielder knew he’d dropped it right away.

Yes, in winter it's a mark, in summer, no catch as he didn't have full control of the latter.

Not really. Renegades only need to win 1 of their remaining 3 games to make finals.

Thunder have to beat the Renegades, hope they lose the other 2 and stay above Heat on NRR who play the Renegades in the last match

I’d say Thunder would be the 3rd and least likely chance of taking 4th spot
