It's a shame how Lynn's career has panned out. He was once a very promising FC cricketer. Averaged nearly 44, had a top score of 250 while playing sensibly and pouncing on any crap balls. He pissed that away by chasing T20 glory and just became a mindless slogger. I doubt he would care but it would've been interesting to see if he got a baggy green because I think he had potential to do so.

To be fair I think his body giving out on him was a big factor in him going the T20 route. I do think people forget he was averaging 40+ in the Shield.
 
Too right. Can someone show mark Waugh Lynn's batting stats. I think June's confusing him for Chris Martin or something
You can question his decision making at times and his leadership for sure. But his record with the bat in the BBL is incredible. The most runs, almost double the amount of sizes than any other player and that's from a comparable amount of games with the likes of Finch and Maxwell.
