I went to the SCG the other night only because I got freebies in the members area am still on the waitlist atm.Australia has been left behind in the world of T20 cricket, the BBL is an ordinary competition. The cricket going public may have fallen out of love with it already, meanwhile it's booming everywhere else. Maybe Melbourne is top heavy with teams and should only have one? The sports capital of Australia just hasn't taken to it! The Boxing day Test looks like being a ripper weather wise and should attract 80,000 people, I doubt the Stars will attract 80,000 all season at the MCG!
But I reckon the crowd 70% were in the members and how many took up the freebies the SCG were offering for those like me on the waitlist to sit in the members once a year as part of being on the waitlist.
Not many on the the other side ground
I wouldn't have gone if I didn't have a free ticket
