To all Maxwell knockers who say he is not Test player potential you have rocks in your head.Just wasted talent.All round talent and people seem to focus on his batting flaws but what about his bowling as seen tonight and one of the best fieldsman in the world.Realise only a T20 game but shake my head in why he has not played test cricket since 2017 and in the last 18 months only restricted to T20 and 1 day cricket.

He’s a dumbass and hero with the bat, he wouldn’t even get a look at bowling in the test team - he had his chance and his huge head blew it. Game over and get over it!

I think it’s a sign of the comp is genuinely even, every side has 2-3 players who can win a game on their own and it comes down to which fires in any game. There is no genuinely stand out sides and other than the Gades, no genuinely s**t side.

The Strikers without Khan and Siddle lose their biggest weapon, the Scorchers away from Optus will be interesting. Stars just need home games, bat first and produce a turner. Heat have batting firepower and that’s about it. Thunder rely on their top order getting off to a flyer. Hurricanes are probably the weakest but not travelling has helped them stay in the hunt.
