That doesn't necessarily improve the competition or the games though, I could also come up with some random points based rules that would complicate the ladder and throw up more possibilities, if anything it's complicated whether it's better to go for a win or just sacrifice a win and go for a good 10 overs. Teams today might aim to play a good 10 overs rather than 40, I'd much rather see the game strategy being put into winning games.
