Yeh sadly Lynn is cooked. Was entertaining as hell through his T20 career but he's never been the same since his recentish shoulder injuries, and the fact that every team has worked him out, bowl spin against him early and he's pretty much useless.

For way too long its been Lynn or bust. He probably needs to take a paycut now and they have to find at least another top quality Aus & an International bat. They just implode way too much. Honestly there's way too many holes in their team. Some smarter fast bowlers are a must as well.

Not sure we keep him for next season - he walks into most clubs best XIs

Save some money on an international slot. If the options are just average county cricketers I’d rather just keep him and go after some gun local players

Needs to have the pressure taken right off. Goes in expecting to carry the team like he used to. If he moves down to 5 or 6 as the designated slogger, including powerplay overs, he’ll still be handy. Requires Brisbane getting some more reliable batsmen in the door ahead of him though

I think that's his only play. Try and make it work as the late power surge hitter, in that regard making his 25 off 12 balls is all he really needs to do for the role at 6 or 7.

He's not the right player to open the innings anymore.

Not having Optus BBL games would have been a killer for CA this year
