When Australia scored 434 at the Wanderers in the 2006, Jacques Kallis told his team the Aussies were about 10 short and we know how that played out. It'd be funny and a tad embarrassing if the Stars end up a few runs short here. C'mon Hurricanes, entertain us neutrals watching and go close!

An all out 89 wouldn't be great for confidence.
I don’t see how they don’t get rolled here. They aren’t chasing it. But the only option is to come in and swing hard from the get go. Quite a few shots from the Stars didn’t go to hand that could have, I don’t expect the luck to continue

They were mostly missing batsmen, they still had a decent bowling attack and they had no choice, the Hurricanes chose to rest players and play garbage bowlers.

The Hurricanes made a choice to give their squad bowlers a game in case they need them in finals.

It’s still players good enough to play in a BBL squad. This is only a dead rubber cos the Sixers threw a game.

Pity Stars didn’t make the finals, those 2 Covid hit games were costly, and in another game where they just batted poorly

Stars need to recruit a couple decent bowlers next season, preferably a class overseas pace bowler who is going be there for the whole season

Next season Maxwell should open the battingfrom the start next season
