Going to be a relief that our season will end tonight. Gimmick competition more than any other year and hard to take it seriously with everything that has transpired. Will be an empty title year. I think the 3rd ump made the right call as the ball broke the stumps before his arm did as he deflected the ball down onto the stumps... and there was a clear angle on the bat and it looked to be off the ground to me, even if it was over the line at the frame the lights came on.

haha what are you talking about the third umpire didnt even notice/look at it. The only angle he bothered to look at there was no evidence to confirm either way. If he’d noticed he would have asked for more angles where it could actually be determined.

The angle he was looking at clearly showed the ball hitting the stumps, so perhaps he didn't even need to look at the arm/glove? possibly a bad assumption by him there, but it turned out to be a good assumption, if this story is true.
