One thing you cant question about Ashton Turner , as a captain he usually makes pretty good calls on the field in terms of bowling changes and fielding positions.

stupid question is Brendon Julian a Perth Scorcher man? or a Sydney Sixers/Sydney Thunder fan (seeing as he is NSW based these days)?

Jhye with his 4. No doubt about who gets Man of the Match now.

This performance will ring a bell back to the Australian selectors.

Sixers look too old, too slow and weak in batting.

Dan Christian, O'Keefe look like guys who have played a season or two too long.

Two thumping's to start the season, the Sixers are not the team of the last few seasons.

So much local talent in WA at the moment

Goodwin put on 148 in A grade today. Sam fanning looks ready

Morris to come back into the bowling

Only thing we really miss is a quality wrist spinner

i take it Ben Dwarshuis is injured? he from memory was an important cog in that lineup last season.

Seems like Sixers are managing players with no: O'Keefe and Dwarshuis for this game.

Think Hayden Kerr has some potential from what I have seen him. Dwarshuis, Abbott, and Kerr are 3 pretty handy all rounders if they can get them in the same team at the same time.

Jhye if he can get his body right, along with Ellis should both be in the Aus T20 XI (with one of Starc or Hazlewood) imo

Oh well, at least we are better than the Thunder. 7.8 times better to be exact.

Hardcore WA/Scorchers.

Great effort by the Scorchers tonight, bowling attack is first class.

Hopefully Morris can come back and send some stumps cartwheeling.
