Well, the curtain has drawn on another season of AFL to save us from our trading dilemmas each week... phew! That is, until I just got word that SC BBL is now open!

Not so good for a lot of them in IPL.
Pretty tough for them to even get a game with teams
loaded with good overseas players.

Weird Carey not a Striker keeper? Still early days though.

first crack and seems like a solid team. probably wont be able to pick green. Ive gone heavy on the allrounder cause theyve got two scoring chances and players with doubles or coming up and i like the strikers schedule.

Im guessing players in AUS T20 or ODI teams wont play BBL. Or do they just miss the first 2-3 rounds?

Also guessing this Afg 15 year old Ahmed only plays until Tahir arrives. Anyone know more?

Im hearing Narine could be the Gades Marquee player. Hope he gets his action all good if true.

My 1st attempt at a team includes 4 Gades, 3 Strikers, 3 Sixes and dribbled with players from other teams.

It's a hold at the moment until we get more info on revised fixture. T Curran is in my 1st attempt. Hoping he plays the whole Big Bash.

Not convinced about Curran. He was getting placked a lot last time
and he never lasted long in IPL before being dropped.
Played 5 matches total 3/208 bowling.

i think you have to start him if they have the double in round 1.
the conditions and standard are different in the BBL and he has a good record here.

it's impossible to pick a team until we find out the fixture, what's happening with those selected for Aus and what the Sixers line up will look like assuming the current fixture is correct.

Stars, Hurricanes and Strikers looking good at the start. Maybe two DGWs back-to-back for Adelaide but maybe a bye in the first round?
So many games at Manuka.

As soon as the January fixture drops ill update my spreadsheet. Currently looking at Stoinis, Maxwell, Stanlake (?) & Maddinson for round 1 given double game. Around those i can get Short, Lynn, Roy, Richardson, Cutting, Philippe & a couple others. Pucovski may be an option at 42k
