I just don’t think I could be bothered checking teams and making adjustments 40 minutes before game time every day (twice sometimes) for a month and a half. especially at that time of year.

I certainly took a back seat to it last year.

Made my trades immediately after lockout, paid no attention to lineups and didn't bother with any loopholes. Still got some enjoyment out of it, so might try the same approach again.
