I think Tait is worth a go - when he's on form and fit (like, not now:p), his speed is valuable, and can win a game.

But you should never bowl him in the powerplay. The reason they bowl a lot of spinners during the PP is the the batsman has to make the pace in the shot. They have to hit a good shot to reach the boundary. With Tait, you just have to get bat on ball - then if it misses the field in the PP, it's a boundary.

But, gees, man - would it kill you to go for a bit of a run sometime, and put down the mince pies?

Easy win against the bottom side, but would want to bowl a bit better against a decent team

Still feel they picked 1 too many bowlers, Faulkner at 5? Very long tail, KP should probably come in for a bowler, Hilfy or Boland unless Australia do us a favour and pick Faulkner for Sydney, they don't have to play him, just take him for the trip...

Hard to see Hurricanes winning any games at home, Bellerive with a flat pitch, short boundaries and Shaun Tait make 220 a par score!

Only disappointment tonight was Clive Rose, must be the first game of his entire career he has gone for less than 10 an over, yet his team still got thumped :D

Also looking forward to Handscomb coming back, a better keeper than Harper and if Australia was fair dinkum, they wouldn't take Maxwell off us, if he hasn't got a game for the last couple of series then why would he this time? Let him play cricket instead of travelling the world as a drinks waiter

Harsh on Rose, guy bowled decently last season and has had a decent start this season.

Far from it. Hartley, Nevill and Whiteman are better at the very least.

Neville is a better keeper, but an inferior batsman. Hartley, just no. Whiteman is the major argument, should be he and Paine fighting it off for WK.

I think Handscomb should just keep anyhow. He's not much worse than Wade, and can bat. Wade is a waste of a Test slot. Only scores runs when the pressure is off.

Nevill has more runs in less games of FC cricket to Paine; averaging over 10 more. Hartley is the best gloveman in Australia. He's not a brilliant bat but he's better than Paine. Whiteman has great potential but he's not quite ready for test cricket.

Handscomb is far, far worse than Wade with the gloves. Also; Wade is 15 games into his test career. He has performed well when test matches are on the line before, he has a test match 50 in India, which not many players can say.
