Can't wait to go and watch, anyone else going? Is there anyone else you guys think missed out from the Dee's that should be in the squad?

I'll be going with a few mates, pretty happy with the selections. Knew Flash would be in as it was going to be based mainly around pace, and Robbo should be quite a handful up forward. I'm just happy Beamer's in as I would love to see him take someone out and kick an over from the centre square.

The full squad is:
Heath Black (Fremantle), Amon Buchanan (Sydney), Trent Croad (Hawthorn), Aaron Davey (Melbourne), Nick Davis (Sydney), Brett Deledio (Richmond), Nathan Eagleton (Western Bulldogs), Dustin Fletcher (Essendon), Daniel Giansiracusa (Western Bulldogs), Lindsay Gilbee (Western Bulldogs), Shannon Grant (Kangaroos), Brent Harvey (Kangaroos), Luke Hodge (Hawthorn), Chris Johnson (Brisbane Lions), Matthew Lappin (Carlton), Andrew Lovett (Essendon), Andrew McLeod (Adelaide), Troy Makepeace (Kangaroos), Darren Milburn (Geelong), Brent Moloney (Melbourne), Dale Morris (Western Bulldogs), Chris Newman (Richmond), Ryan O'Keefe (Sydney), Russell Robertson (Melbourne), Jarrad Waite (Carlton), Daniel Wells (Kangaroos)

TJ would have added some class but I don't really care. I always wanted to see Beamer in there. If has half the amount of pride he has playing for the dees as he does for his country, he will do ********ing well.

Good to see that they have gone short this year. Waite and Croad are the only real KPP with Fletcher being the keeper.

milburn is favourite to keep with fletcher at full back straight in front of him...

I always thought brad green would be handy for these games with his soccer skills apart from that I'm looking forward to seeing Davey out there, I think it will suit him. (no injuries!!!!)

When are tickets avalible? I'll try get in early this year.. last time I got possibly the worst seats in the entire MCG.

Great to see the Demons boys in the side. Im really looking forward to see what Davey can do out there... while watching Beamer bash a few blokes.

tickets have been on sale for ages. Perth game sold out ages ago, i have tickets for TD and there are still some left but don't just rock up on the night and expect a seat.

BEEMA will absoloutely slaughter the irish with his unit of a body. Such a level headed footballer who wants melbourne to go forward to a premiership. HE will make a big physical presence on this game.

Vazie's idol :thumbsu:

Should make the International Rules more interesting anyway, we all know the games have a history of the odd punch up so hopefully Beamer gets into it if that happens.

Do u reckon Beema would do a Mark McVeigh or brad scott like recent years... or would he like to be a good role model?

He could do both.
The best thing about him is that he is the type of player Melbourne has been crying out for: Hard, tough, loves to dish it out and if there is a ball in dispute he will go in and get it and god help you if you are in his way.
Really, his attitude is fantastic. Would love to see him captain the side one day.

He didnt get a gig this week but next week got help those irish players there were a few scuffles this game but next wen brent plays its goign ot be a jk
