Nicholls did have it on Beams. Heard he told Nicholls the truth. So at that Bounce he was looking Directly at Beams just waiting to report him

Slightly off topic but I am surprised that the White bump on Robinson wasn't looked at. It was accidental but fairly significant contact was made. As for the Beams report, the umpire should be sent to the country were wasting everyone's time.

Of course it should. Adjudicating on the damage done is the problem. If he intentionally punches someone to the head, he gets a holiday, simple as that.

Agree, if Adams went down then people would have said he got off lightly. Fact is, he threw a punch and hit a player square on the jaw and that is something players should and do get rubbed out for.

I agree, I just think 1 week is more appropriate, and if he didn't have a poor previous record that's what he would have gotten anyway I guess.

I don't even agree with that. To my way of thinking, punching someone in the head should demand a punishment in the upper tier of what is available. The act is intentional, it is away from the play, the only intention can be to hurt the other bloke as it's not in the hope of winning the ball or shepherding for a teammate. The impact tends to be about as much as the culprit can generate, rather than being dependent on bodyweight or momentum as with a bump, so for Robinson's offence to be classified as low impact I find to be nonsense. I don't see any rationale for punching an opponent and it has no place in our game.
