The amount of players with gambling problems is ludicrous.
Too much money, too much energy, too much spare time and no real way to funnel it.

I’m with you in general.
But to me there should be something more to it than “rumour doing the rounds” and a random screen grab from someone just saying it on Facebook.
I could literally do the same right now about any player in the league and people would believe me.
Again, wouldn’t surprise me in the least if this is true, I’m just saying it would be nice if there was something slightly more concrete than just “yeah I heard it”.

According to my extensive research, Eddie is worth $55 million and earns a salary of $3.5 million. That is absolutely "give away 1.5m wealthy"... especially if Beams is paying it back over time.
Being "worth" 55 million isn't the same as having $55 million in the bank.
I know. But based on that and his reported 3.5 million salary, you don't think he has 1.5 million lying around? Im sure he could easily find the money
