Like his Kimberley episode. He got dropped off 2km from Kununurra. I can't remember all that happened, but he finds water and immediately jumps in. Anyone who knows anything about the seasons up north and the nature of the salties could tell you that the salties move up the rivers during the wet season, and can sometimes get stuck in pools as the river dries. I would have laughed if he ran into this...

lol i saw that one. When he was swimming i was thinkg: why didnt he even warn us for crocs but then the time came.
I saw this for the first time last week to see what all the fuss was about. I thought, what a load of shit!!

He went into a cave to instead of going through rugged terrain and then persisted to climb down until he came across an undergound river.
Then tryed to lead us to believe he and the camera man dived and swam out the other end, not knowing how long underwater he would have to dive or even if it was possible to come out the other end.

People think this show is real, if you took his advice, it would get you killed.
Your thinking of the Romania episode? right? the one with the Bears he is afraid of?

anyway he checks first and says he has found an air hole with space to go forward, worth the risk when it cuts a day off hiking and could save your life.

Just saw him eat a lava with the guts oozing out as well :D

This guy is a god bothering fraud who has a vast support team stage most of his scenes.

Try Ray Mears or Survivor Man for REAL survivalists.

No shit idiot, it's called entertainment, something that is lacking in the other shows.

See I think that people might be foolish enough to use some of his techniques in real survival situations and meet their doom.

Guys like Les Stroud (Survivor Man) who has way more credibility than Mr Grylls take the LEAST risks in order to get through their ordeal. Grylls hams it up in front of camera.

Show is staged but Grylls is the real deal.

Anyone who has served in the SAS and has also climbed Everest is one tough SOB.

From 1994 to 1997, after passing United Kingdom Special Forces Selection, he served in the part-time United Kingdom Special Forces Reserve, with 21 Regiment Special Air Service, 21 SAS(R), as a trooper, survival instructor and Patrol Medic
He was a part time reservist and not a true member of the SAS.

Also he claimed to be the youngest person to have ever climbed Everest yet was found not have been and now lists himself as
He is one of the youngest Britons to climb Mount Everest, doing so at age 23
I mean all credit to the guy, he entertains millions with his show and has accomplished more in life than most of us could dream of.

Having said that there is no doubt that he has misrepresented his accomplishments and the amount of planning and support that he has during filming.

He has been forced to heavily edit his older shows as he was called out by true survivalists.

And has been proven to be a fraud.

Keep watching guys.

He is not a fraud, because he says he gets things presented to demonstrate. Its no like he goes around and tell people he is real. Read the warning at the start.:)

If it's not real then why watch it?

That Miracles show on the ABC a month or so back was so much better because it is real.

It isnt all presented, he does spend time in the wilderness and he does encounter some real situations but some are presented. You'll be happy you watched if you found yourself trapped in ICED water etc.

IDK, I'd rather not go to a place that has that risk.

Bear Grylls could wrestle a grizzly bear whilst fending of a salty.

Found this in the comments of the article.

It sums this debate up perfectly....

yeah, but did this dude eat a boa constrictor like Bear, jump 30ft into a raging waterfall like Bear, swim across a pirahana infested water like Bear, and still make me wonder how his camera crew filmed him, like Bear,

What and achievement. No doco crew, No crazy sponsorship deals and publicity.

He just wanted to do it and found a way.

He has also done a great doco when he joined the French Foreign Legion. It was absolutey brutal what they went through in the Afican dessert.

At the time he climbed Everest, he was the youngest ever I think.
