so we are lynching BFEW today thanks BEaston

as much as it goes against every fibre of you being MC Bad Genius you'll have to protect me tonight as some sort of evidence that you have not been recruited.

similarly WAbulldog - you'll have to do exactly as we say otherwise we might have to lynch you tomorrow in case you have been recruited. We'll tell you who later as we are hoping or some on thee ranks a bit.
Woohoo! I can do whatever the **** I want 😍

one of the flogs raised killing you tongint
Given the flogs refused to take heed of an obvious action two nights in a row this really doesn’t surprise me.

we had a good ol’ laugh at that - we’re having a ball in our PM

The JOAT is a prime vampire target
100% they are. I actually considered holding off on my kill last night to be able to use it night four to the vampires’ end.

A seer would confirm I’ve not been recruited, though at this stage it’s a little ballsy for me to assume we even have a seer.

Arguably even more so than the doctor since the head vampire does not need protection at night
At first glance but I don’t believe so when you consider it further.

Assuming the OP is correct, there are fifteen players left. The vampire would have recruited night one so I feel it’s highly likely that there’s three in the faction now. By recruiting the doctor, control of the village’s only consistent and reliable protection mechanism is removed from them. As such, the reliability of their kills becomes much greater. Additionally, they essentially benefit from having two night immune on any given night, and on every second night one of those two are essentially village endorsed as well. Possibly, the first recruitment has already given them an insight into the makeup of another group as well, negating the desirability of seering.

All of those benefits, plus the fact that the village is likely to be apprehensive about killing their own protective role, means that the game is completely opened up for them. Not saying a lot of these benefits don’t also hold for the JOAT - but I do think downplaying the benefits of recruiting the doctor is suspicious because it’s clearly a valuable get. And also I have the benefit that everyone else doesn’t of knowing for a fact that I wasn’t recruited, so my jumping off point on the likelihood of who else might have been targeted is different.

That’s all I need to hear. Bad Bfew
BEaston
DP pls remind me/us what position you've claimed in this game?

I thought I saw a claim from you, but given I didn't have time to read all yesterdays posts,
I might have been thinking of a previous game.

you’d have to say one of you would’ve been targeted for sure

If I was saying that then my way forward is pretty clear. Hope like hell BFew flips head vamp and then roleblock MCBG so he can’t protect OR kill as the presumed most recent vamp recruit.

Unfortunately, while I can see the attractiveness of MCBG I don’t know that I’m comfortable with kneecapping the village with that kind of behaviour and potentially capitulating any chance of winning worse than we’ve seen for a long time if that hypothesis (MCBG = recruit) is wrong. I’m definitely valuing a consensus view on what makes sense for me tonight (noting that acting any other way is probably far less calamitous, at least instantly) if I’m wrong. Would be ballsy af though.

How is that evidence?

Also, are your fellow flogs confident that you haven't been recruited by the Vampires? Just the way this post is structured has raised the hairs on the back of my neck.

the thinking is that if you deviate from the village plan means you are recruited.

did you just “no you are” me?

Quoting my own post to also acknowledge that it has occurred to me that socialising roleblocking and having someone else kill the doctor is exactly what a recruited vamp might do. 😂

"You had better protect us MCBG or ELSE"

we were going to offer MCBG protection tonight but may gamble between Tarks and MC

"But eh we're on the fence with you though"

Tbh telling MCBG he needs to protect Jmoo feels a lot more about dragging his protect away from somewhere more useful than it does about keeping Jmoo alive.

Yeah I pick up what you're putting down, jmoo is compromised.
