News Beau McDonald is the new ruck coach.

Sandi has given up the role due to increasing work commitments.


"Drafted from Swan Districts in 1997, the former Brisbane Lion played 91 AFL games between 1998 and 2007 and is a two-time premiership player from 2001 and 2002.

McDonald joined the Lions coaching staff for three years following his retirement. He since returned to Western Australia to undertake youth coaching in the Pilbara and was most recently the Head of Coaching at the WA Football Commission."

I think Bubba Darcy is missing Big Aaron. We need Sandi to come back for a week or two, sledgehammer in hand, to whip Bubba back into shape and school him in the ways of righteousness.

Beau has probably been talking about percentage maximisation and risk analysis. Bubba doesn't need that. He needs Uncle Aaron to lock the fridge and find some really heavy things to hit with a sledgehammer.
