becks singing in a real soft falsetto voice. realy spacey psychedelic song. realy digg the drum sound and base on this..if your expecting something upbeat and fun beck(odelay, vultures) you might not like it. Pretty dreamy, dark song. Top ending to it:thumbsu:

being a big fan i have done that with his previous 3. good times. high hopes for this one. the information was pretty decent..but it got tired towards the end. A good 3 songs to long

I like it, I think it will grow on me.

Beck has very rarely disappointed me, so looking forward to this.

the information was the only album that wasn't a big departure from the last album. i think this might be why it sounded a little tired towards the end (not to say that there aren't some great cuts on that album!!).

judging by this track, it seems that he is going in another direction again, so this record could be his freshest for a while.

In this order..

Midnite Vultures
sea change
mutations
odelay
Guero
Mellow Gold
The Information
One foot in the grave
haven't heard enough of "one foot in the grave" to comment, but for me it goes:

odelay
sea change
midnite vultures
mutations
guero
mellow gold
the information
stereopathic soul manure

it seems harsh to put the information as his "2nd worst" album though .... i guess its not that bad considering the quality higher up in the list!

yeah the info aint a bad album at all..its just that its beck. the dude has set high standards from the get go. I Think another reason the information sounds tired is that those songs were actually older that Guero's. Beck and Nigel spent a bit to much time on it.

The thing that gets me excited about 'Modern Guilt' is that its not Nigel or Dust Bros producing.Something fresh was def needed. The fact that is was recorded pretty quick to might give it that Spontaneous feel.

Chemtrails kills it. gets better each time
