I dunno, I think Bell is ok providing an option in the Fletcher-type role. However with the midfield in general getting an absolute bath, Bell looks in trouble, he doesn't have the ability to get the hardball gets at the moment, which is what the team desperatly needs. There needs to be some hard thinking about the midfield, that is for sure.

The lack of pre-season is really hurting him. Looked really slow today. Schofield will be the same.

He has been disappointing most of the year.

This can mean
He has lost his passion
He is carrying something
He is out of form

I don't know which.
He certainly looks slow.

I do know that no Hasebly = no Fremantle as he seems to be the best at clearing the ball.

i know to. He has jumped up to number two on BB guns most important players for freo. Displacing Jlo.
Unfortunately all that money has gone to the country boys head. It would be interesting to see his stats pre contract signing compared with post contract signing.

Interesting thoughts considering he's = with Heath Black as Freo's highest possession gatherer this year.

His stats still don't read too badly:

Round 1 - Easter & Season Launch 26/03/2005 Port Adelaide 12 6 18 4 0 4 2 0 0 0
Round 2 03/04/2005 St Kilda 13 15 28 5 0 4 2 0 1 0
Round 3 - Rivalry Round 09/04/2005 West Coast Eagles 11 6 17 3 0 3 0 0 0 0
Round 4 17/04/2005 Richmond 11 11 22 5 0 6 1 1 0 1
Round 5 - Anzac Day 23/04/2005 Carlton 12 9 21 6 0 5 0 1 2 0
Round 6 30/04/2005 Melbourne 20 7 27 9 0 1 1 1 2 1
Round 7 - Mothers Day 08/05/2005 Collingwood 23 5 28 9 0 4 2 0 2 2
Round 8 15/05/2005 Essendon 12 9 21 2 0 1 0 0 0 2

Bell is in the same category as Haselby has to get 25 + touches a game in order to play well.
IMO black does more with his 22 touches

Stats mean f##kall if you can't hurt the opposition. Bell just carries a lot of captain rhetoric and has lost his leadership quality

I take it back. Well done today. When Bell and Hasleby play well so do fremantle. Hopefully this is the beginning of some great form for them.

I remember early last year (after 11 rounds) people were comparing Judd to Hasleby and asking who was the better midfielder. Since then Judd's form continued and he won a brownlow.

Hasleby was at very short odds half way through last year for the brownlow. Hopefully he can return to that sort of form.

I think they were both stung into action after last weeks effort against the hawks. Cream always comes to the surface when the heat goes on.

ON Friday prior to game Haze was interviewed on Nova(in perth) there was avery steely reslove in his voice about hunting cats on Sat.

In the last Q Belly was there in the backhalf providing support.

Yes we do look much better when these two are firing just need some consistency

That would be, without a doubt, the most ridiculous post you have ever made.
He has carried the team since he's been at the Club and has rarely if ever put in a sub standard performance.
