He really is a journalist with an agenda. The AFL journalists should be more impartial and professional it's not a good look for the AFL website. To suggest draft picks when no other clubs were subject to a similar review is ridiculous. All clubs would have skeletons in the closet. Did Collingwood lose draft picks for their issues? How far back do you want to go?

It's PR, not journalism on the AFL website.

If the publication you're writing for is literally owned by the topic you're covering, and they're also paying your salary... it's called Public Relations.

When the site was launched they could have just linked news articles from existing outlets and paid modestly for them.

Instead they saw their website as a chance to put the AFL media cycle in an echo chamber.

That definitely does not have the fan's and supporter's best interests at heart, which is supposed to be their mission.
