His pathetic performance against geelong once again shows how WCE erred in making this little ginger captain. Instead of going for the ball, he was mainly hanging shit on his opponent of the day, mainly Justin Murhpy, and he repeatedly interfered with the man, yet hardly a free kick was paid against him. Now i admit Murphy is now angel, but he should be congradulated by giving that little twerp cousins a knuckle sandwich. Too bad he got a week for only a minor offense. I would have made Cousins bleed if he pissed me off the way he treated some of the geelong players on sunday.
what a w***er cousins is

You must of had a bad day.

Oh, and by the way - what Cousins did was within the rules, what Murphy did clearly wasn't.

Make of it what you like.

True, but Murhpy was man enough to admit his guilt. Cousins twice touched the umpire in that game and wasn't reported, because he is the spokeswoman for colgate

yeah sure ! If cousins came for you, you would run

No G4E. A gutless player is one who hits a player behind play, in the vague hope of recurring an injury that the fallen player received in a courageous attempt at the ball only a couple of weeks before.

That is weak. That is gutless. That is admitting that you are a talentless hack, who's only means of "beating" an obviousily far superior player is to have a swing at him.

Luckily for you G.ay -Lord, Chanel Ocho didn't have their cameras on behind the play, cause you would have got six weeks.

And kudos to the tribunal, for letting the coward play this weekend, due to a "lack of evidence" despite 30,000 witnesses. You idiots are as weak as Aaron Lord.

Have a look in a mirror Karl, you'll then see the anastomosis of all the bad traits of humanity

Geelong would certainly have taken Cousins under the father/son rule, but his preference was to stay in the west.
Primus was at Geelong for a number of years (grandson of Reg Hickey, no father/son chance there), but in the infinite wisdom of those in charge was released to Fitzroy

Cheers

30,000 witnesses? Goodness me! 60% of the crowd were watching two blokes 60 metres from the play.

What bullsh|t! You didn't see it, no-one saw it. You're only guessing and assuming the worst. The investigation revealed nothing, case closed.

What a joke. The most gutless thing I've seen for a long time was from Gary Hocking on Robert Harvey a couple years ago.
Gutless little thug shirtfronted Harvey in a ruck contest when Harvey was watching the ball and Hocking just ran at him.
The best part of that was that in the 2nd half Harvey ran rampant and Hocking was left looking a second rate footballing thug, in the wake of the dual Brownlow medalist.
SO wake up you infantile Cat supporters, just thank your good fortune King is still allowed to run around this Sunday (how, I will never know, Rocca was suspended for the same thing last year and Chris Grant lost a Brownlow for something less)

Exactly right Joffaboy.

The Hocking/Harvey incident was one of the most disgraceful acts I have seen on the footy field. It did help bring about a change to the charging rule, yet no one seems to understand what the rule actually means.

I'm also very surprised King got off. However, I'm hopeful that 3 good ruckman can defeat one highly regarded but lone ruckman. Despite the wraps on Darcy, he simply couldn't compete with a ruck division rotating between Capuano, Everitt and Loewe. It helps when they can all spend time in the forward line when not rucking. Steven King will need to be on his game this week.

Your are a complete w***er joffa

Hocking's charge was no different to wayne campbells's charge on metropolis a few weeks back and he got off as well

Are u so bitter that your brain is suffering from senility ?

G4E - after reading your post i came to this conclusion. Your pissed off and jealous that we have a great player in Cousins and you dont. Your also pissed off because he snubbed your pathetic team to stay loyal to the Eagles and your also pissed that he outwitted Murphy to the point where all Murphy could do was use his fists. Nice post i thought G4E, you got your point across nicely.

His inaccuracy is a huge concern. But I think it's because he rushes things alot more than he needs to in an attempt to prove his mid-fielder status. (don't ask

) If he takes his time, his passes are usually pretty good (like Blueys last ever game

You are kidding aren't you Jod ? I would much rather have young Spriggs at Geelong then mr plastic fantastic Cousins, who really has done nothing to deserve the captiancy. At least Spriggs chases and gets the hard ball gets, which in Cousins case, is not the football. He certainly goes around grabbing for balls though

hahahaha and spriggs isn't mr plastic fantastic? Jeez has there even been more of a pretty boy than David Spriggs, I don't think so.

Cousins has proved consistent throughout his time at West Coast, that is why he got the captaincy - plus he is young, and can carry the eagles through the years. Plus he won the Norwich Rising Star Award - has Spriggs? No.

My god...I never thought I would see the day a victorian stood up for a West Aussie player

Nah....that last post must be a figment of my imagination

JubJub - i not sure his kicking style is particularly weird but i think it is just inconsistent, which is something he is working on this year. Also i think he hits targets much better when kicking to forward rather than coming out of the backline or chipping it aroung in the middle. He always seems to hit Scotty on the chest. If he does rectify his kicking this year then he will certainly be one of the best midfielders in the game today. I mean he is already but his game would be more polished like Buckleys for instance.
