Midfield is fine and developing nicely. He and Hislop can go and compare notes on behaviour as far as I care (and I don't really care that much).

This will be a perfect chance to snap him up.

The man is one of the best players of the modern era and to have him in our midfield and winning the ball with the likes of young up and coming midfielders like Lonergan, Watson, Stanton, Winderlich, Prismall. With his experience it will just give those midfielders a massive amount of confidence.

Essendon is the perfect environment for a man like Benny.

I know if i was Knighter i would be taking him..

agreed... after delisting Hislop, signing Cousins wouldn't send the right message to the playing group re: the virtues of the club. It could harbour resent.

Hmm interesting to see the explanations. They have Carlton as warm, however i see no chance of Cousins going there while Judd is. Also have St Kilda as stone cold because they officially said no, however we officially said no aswell but we are still warm.

Brisbane have now officially pulled out of the race for Cousins full stop.

Hopefully those that do want him will now realise that as good a player as he was/might still be, it is seen as far too big a risk by clubs.

Focus on someone else as Essendon will not take him and it appears that no one else will either.
