I think they Rookied him just on his positive influence around the club which is what Adelaide need. I'll be interested to see how he goes in the SANFL, he was ok in the VFL with out being a star

Couldn't take his chances at the club but i wish him all the luck at Adelaide, top block as well you can see by the way he speaks to what sort of person he is. Good Luck Crocker

Crocker is definitely good enough to still be on AFL list; it was reported there were 3-4 clubs interested in him after he was delisted. I don't think he was delisted because he wasn't good enough; I think Bucks probably just told him that he would struggle for a game here, which probably isn't the best thing for him. Now some may ask 'why not trade him?', but him having only played 26 games in 4 years, clubs wouldn't wanna give anything up for him.

As for his performances at AFL level not really being up to snuff? Well keep in mind, he's still very inexperienced, and him constantly being an emergency (meaning most weeks he's either travelling or playing half a VFL game) doesn't help him get any continuity at all. He'll be much better if he's allowed to play full games every week and develop his game (even if it's in the SANFL). He's still only 22 and has plenty of time to turn it around.

I loved that he was still such a publicly, passionate Pie supporter whilst captaining the Blues VFL side. The Blues supporters hated that.
