Not much gets said about Ben.. but he's so ever reliable, and that beautiful left foot shot at goal from the 50m arc has featured for us at the right moment in so many big games now.. many great players this year but wanted to give a shout out to Ben because he so often overlooked when it comes time for giving praise... and he's put in so many years of service..

Great stat I read this morning is that he has the highest retention rate of ball after a kick than any other player in the league at 76%. So 76% of the time he kicks it Collingwood has the next possession

Great game from Benny, had $50 on him for NS at $51 was watching him close and he was sensational, i would go as far as to say the most underrated player on our list hands down

Great stalwart for our club, TBH I questioned him as best 22 at the stat of the season but job well done

Our recruiting over the last 3-4 years have set this cup up.

Since coming to Australia in 2007 and following Collingwood since then, Ben Johnson has been my favourite player. Something to do with the fact that I too am left footed.

His left foot has played us into so many great positions and he's so under-rated that I suspect the day we lose him, we'll be wondering what went wrong and we wouldn't even realise that it's because we've lost Ben... .

I'm thinking of getting 26 put on the back of this season's guernsey soon... . Toss up between him and 22 - Steele Sidebottom
