I don’t know their list management but I find it hard to believe they’d be able to match $2 mill a season.

They would have to trade players out to do so you’d think.

He could be the difference on GF day.....and soon.

Yeah, Suns said they will match. Apparently, they have 1.4M ready for Ben. If let's say Collingwood offers 2M Suns can restructure contracts. If Ben stays I tip Walter goes. Yes, there is a Humprey and a lot of expiring contracts. Easy to come up with additional 600K.

And then there is ambassador money, no?

BTW, Ben would be silly to go to Collingwood. Hawks on the other hand.

I have no info but I guess Ben stays and Walter possibly goes. I did like how Walter went in the last 2 games but 55% ToG will not do, IMO. Dimma still did not figure it out. It could be changing times in the ruck.

For sure it will be fun to watch how it will all go with Suns for the rest of season. Not in form right now and with issues in the middle, intensity. Petracca and Humphrey back should help.

The Suns tall restructure will be fascinating list management come years end.

If you were to ask me now, Walter moves on for more opportunity with King and Read staying and JUH in the wings.

However, I wouldn't be surprised if Mac is moved into a forward resting ruck role next year as we are seeing the new ruck rules begin to catch up with Witta. So potentially another key forward we could play.

Yeah, if he analyses lists, IMO, Collingwood would not be a smart choice. It looks pretty obvious to me too.

Oh they should 100% try to do everything in their power to keep him.

With their KPF’s it’s probably a good opportunity to move one on to strengthen other areas of the ground.

The only FA's we've brought in the past fews years is Perryman & Dan McStay and he's not much chop,
Houston, Shultz, Hill, & Co we're all trades.

Joey is close with a lot of the Gold Coast boys from what I know, but he and Dan through DDF's rise in popularity has likely given them some ins at a few places, I know they have sources in the media too.

Joey put it from memory that he was out during Gather Round getting drinks with some footy personalities in the know and one of them let loose to him about King to Collingwood and Butters to the Dogs.

Jeremy Cameron is the only precedent. 3 firsts…

Have a look at the actual Jeremy Cameron trade and the picks that GWS included as well. GWS ultimately received picks 15, 18, 25 (2020 draft) and 60 (2021 draft) and Geelong received Cameron and picks 32 and 35 (2021 draft).

In the wash it is probably closer to 2 end of 1st round picks

That does seem to be the most likely result at this point but
I can easily see North coming with a massive offer and if they play finals i wouldnt rule that out
7 year $15 mil would have to make him think very very hard about the move

King would improve almost any list, beside a beefier ff or as a focus himself.

North would do the sums at least.

I love the possibility he might come to the Pies, it has been teased by some itk people but a long way to go yet.

As with Butters, I can see it'd be nice if he stayed and maybe won success as a single club player.
