Another great game against Post by Ben . The group of young defenders , Paton , Coffield , Clark , and Wilkie have been amazing this year so far especially when you include Carlisle , Howard and Geary . All in all a first grade defence.

It’s only game three but already it is obvious how much we relied on Paton last season . He built a great chemistry between himself ,Carlisle, Wilkie , Howard , Coffield and Clark . Let’s hope he can come back next year fully fit again

Nobody has had anything to say about Pato through the past 4 years including 50 odd games and his delisting. What gives? Didn't make much impact? Why did you delist him - injuries?

A leg break ruined his Saints career. Couldn't get back in the side due to our plethora of half backs. Not the best kick, lost his elite defensive ability and didn't work in any other position when we tried to reposition him

Eventually had to make way for an 18 year old as we rebuild

he was a favoured lockdown defender and was praised a hell of a lot on here
he stalled once he had that nasty broken leg and we had others to cover for him
he never gained back his great form after that
