I am not insulting you I am insulting Marxism.

Look at the very least safe schools and respectful relationships is social engineering which you only seem to get from the left. It only seems to be the left who wants to go against what is natural in order to create what they believe to be some utopian society.
Im not saying you're insulting me, Im saying I wont insult you other than to say I have never encountered a more uninformed poster on this forum who could argue till he was blue in the face.

You don't know much about anything you speak about.

You just wait until you see me as a liberal party candidate. I know exactly what I am talking about but the problem is most posters on this forum are so obsessed with far left wing ideology that when an intelligent right wing poster like me comes along and proves them wrong the only way the can cope is to convince themselves I am a crazy fool. The left does the same thing with other high profile people on the right including Trump.

You misunderstood my point. She may be a Marxist, but there is nothing in safe schools which is anyway Marxist.

Can you show me how it is in there?

She's a good example of something you claimed was a conspiracy theory by Nazis - a Cultural Marxist. The Marxist premise is retained - that all problems in human life stem from an unjust society and that corrections to that social mechanism will eventually bring utopia. But these days Socialist issues such as the mass control of the means of production barely get a mention. For modern Marxists the class struggle has been supplanted by a view that the world can be divided into oppressors and the oppressed. Ward told the 2015 Melbourne Marxism conference that capitalists have imposed "cultural and moral norms around sex, marriage and the normal family that inhibit sexual freedom", and that the Safe Schools program was a way of tackling these "norms".

Safe schools doesn't address bullying of fat, ugly or poor kids. It concerns itself with creating a safer and more inclusive environments for same sex attracted, intersex and gender diverse students, staff and families. The core premise underlying Safe Schools is "queer theory". It is part of a political-cultural operation to introduce a radical view of humanity, using an anti-bullying program as cover.

Leaving aside the fact you disagree with making gay, bi or questioning kids comfortable at school, it's just more conspiratorial ranting. Claiming modern marxists = dividing world into oppressor/oppressed is lazy conceptual leveling. It just opens the door so you can lob every socialist/liberal/neo liberal cultural thing you don't like into the bucket of cultural marxism. Which doesn't exist as a concept outside the worldview of white nationalists and neo nazis.

And go and reflect on your claim that radicalism is a more inclusive environment for same sex attracted kids. Have a think about it.

And * me dead, you'd think this was a one person operation. It was done collaboratively with schools, teachers, mental health orgs etc. There is content based on health eating, online safety, various types of bullying. Have you had a proper look at the program? Have you actually read what they are getting schools to teach and kids to learn?

When did I do that?

You can't be serious? Let's look at the links on the Safe Schools Coalition resources page.
  • Safe Schools Do Better - an introductory guide to supporting gender diversity, intersex and sexual diversity in schools. It includes key research that underpins the need for more inclusive practices and practical information about how to create change.
This is the Safe Schools Coalition Australia guide that outlines eight simple ideas to get started in creating an inclusive safe school. For information about your school joining the Safe Schools Coalition Australia to create a safe and more inclusive learning environment that respects gender diversity, download the membership form.
  • Guide to Inclusive School Formals a guide supporting schools to ensure that school formals, debs, dances or other events are inclusive for same sex attracted, intersex and gender diverse students

Yeah, you left out the online wellbeing web hub which is the guts of what schools do. Lots of discussion about healthy eating, all types of bullying, online safety etc.

And can you outline what it is you find radical? Is it normalisation of homosexuality?

Some of the radical nonsense going on in safe Schools

https://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/n...d/news-story/e832d4cf5b7b66be8686e51ac7039cdd

Students in Years 5 and 6 — so as young as 10 years of age — are being taught that, “Femininity and masculinity are not necessarily inherent categories that pre-exist in each individual.”

Children are encouraged to act “as agents in the construction and maintenance of gender categories”, moving beyond “gender as binarisms” (that is, a choice between being male and female).

As a result, “the dominant social order” may be “resisted” — an echo of Ward’s radical political message.

Students are then required to complete a classroom exercise, where they bring in “a collection of birthday cards they and their siblings have received over the years.”

Even though teachers are required to display the male and female cards on separate boards, they must “avoid using labels such as ‘boys’ cards’ or ‘girls’ pictures’.”

This is another crazy “de-gendering” of language.

The exercise also seeks to undermine family life.
Students are encouraged to challenge the cards’ depiction of “how you live your life as a girl or a boy”.

Then they are asked to “better describe the way you really are” — a rebuff to loving parents and the type of birthday cards they have given their children.

This too is part of the Safe Schools agenda: attacking the nuclear family for its role in providing social stability and the “smooth … operation of capitalism”.

With teachers being trained by Safe Schools to think gender is whatever you feel like, “it’s not surprising we’re seeing more kids responding to this propaganda and parents getting on board. It’s very hard for professionals to speak out.”

It’s not just politically correctness silencing doctors. The prudent “watchful waiting” method is now illegal in Victoria. The new Health Complaints Act purports to crack down on dodgy health practitioners, but was driven by a media campaign against so-called “gay conversion therapy”, which, for gender ideologues, includes not encouraging a child’s sex change.

Megan, who works at a clinic in Sydney with young people, aged from 12 to early 20s, who have asked for referrals for sex changes, says: “Often, especially with females, there’s child abuse in their background, a lot of mental health issues and challenges. The system I work in does push that process. You’re not able to say this is a psychological issue. There’s this push to refer them out and get them processed to [send them to] Westmead children’s hospital and into that [sex change] process.”

It is a catastrophe for families.

One father, Gus, tells of “the most terrifying day of my life”, when he picked up his 16-year-old daughter from school, and “she didn’t know where she was, she wasn’t the full quid, she was just really confused... We went to the doctor [and] just out of the blue she said she was a boy in a girl’s body.”

It turned out “she was going through a psychotic episode. She was in hospital for two months… She’s just a normal girl now ... It was all purely a mental health issue.”

He is angry “vulnerable people like my daughter are taken advantage of [to] go down a totally different track to where she’s ended up.”

The Turnbull government has promised not to continue Safe Schools once the original funding runs out June 30. But, despite requests from NSW for its removal, the website remains. Last year it was rebadged as the “Student Wellbeing” website in an attempt to disguise its original purpose, and a dozen new resources unrelated to gender or sexuality added.

I've asked you to do some primary research, and not rely 2nd hand reports from tabloids.

Are you capable of that?

You just don't like what in contains .

I went to an expensive private school, been to Uni and manage a successful medium size business for my dad so not to be rude but I don't need you to tell me how to research something. You just worry about your own research mate .

It is a program that teaches a persons gender can be chosen and society conditions people to be heterosexual.

When the liberals win the election this year it is gone. They must make a big deal of this during the election campaign and I am sure they will.

You are clueless and uninformed. All you do is read is tabloid s**t then regurgitate it.

At least have a read of the program yourself. Multiple links have been posted.

I don't believe that a government should be teaching students what to think. How to think, yes, but not what to think.

If society itself doesn't impart it's values into the children then perhaps the start point for those who would seek to alter the perception would be mum & dad.

Teaching children about the various ways people live, the various religious beliefs is great. Not because it helps them define the group boundaries for how they will segregate the world, ie Black, White, Gay, Straight, Christian, Muslim etc - that's the simple one step thinking about it that usually sticks, defined by differences.

The real lesson is that the diversity of such things negates the relevancy of all of it. It doesn't make you a good or bad person to be black, to be white, to be straight, to be gay, to be christian, to be muslim.

The utopia isn't where all differences are accepted, it's where they are entirely irrelevant. Where only the character of the person matters.

This program is an absolute disgrace and has caused a total crisis in our Schools. This is an emergency and all parents should be concerned for the wellbeing of their child.

overnment schools to sign on by 2019.

The program’s teaching guide, All of Us, includes a role-playing lesson plan in which kids as young as 11 are told to imagine they are 16 and going out with “someone they are really into’’.

Half the students pretend they are with someone of the same sex; the others have a partner of the opposite sex. Students have to answer 10 questions including: “When you go out with a group of friends to the movies, would you feel comfortable giving your partner a hug or a kiss?’’ They also need to name four famous Australians “with the same kind of relationship as you’’.

Children are even asked to imagine losing their genitalia, in a lesson on transgender experiences. “Indicate to your students that you are talking about gender and not sex by asking them to consider what makes them female or male,’’ the teaching manual says. “Most students will mention their genitalia. Extend the discussion by asking students what it would mean in terms of their gender if they were to lose that part of themselves.’’

The manual tells children to ask people if they prefer to be known as he, she, ze or they. It states that referring to “boys and girls’’ is a form of “heterosexism’’, which assumes that everyone is, or should be, heterosexual.

GRAPHIC: Different strokes

“Phrases like ‘ladies and gentlemen’ or ‘boys and girls’ should be avoided,’’ it says.

The Safe Schools Coalition also promotes a book for children as young as four, The Gender Fairy, which author Jo Hirst explains is “about two transgender children who are not fluid and make the choice to socially transition.’’ Hirst wrote the book to help her young son describe his experience of being transgender.

“Only you know whether you are a boy or a girl,’’ says the Gender Fairy, who has a “non-binary gender identity’’. “Nobody can tell you. If you feel no one knows who you really are, you can tell a grown up you trust.’’

How do you get to the second without the first?
Tolerance and acceptance are both on the spectrum of relevance. When something truly doesn't matter, it doesn't factor in your mind at all. Sort of how the opposite of love isn't hate, it's indifference.

We get there by no longer defining ourselves by groups, identity politics is a self fulfilling cycle that keeps us going around and around.

I am no defined by who I sleep with, not by my skin colour. I am defined by who I am. My skin colour and who I sleep with don't define who I am.
