The one thing (and there are a few others) that really irks me about Sinclair is that when we get centre clearances he gets outmarked 1 on 1 and that leads to a lot of rebound space for the opposition to slice through the field back at us.

He is that bad! He did nothing of worth either offensively or defensively. He is not of AFL standard and I agree 100% with the OP. Should never again play AFL footy. He isn't that bad, but i think Mooney takes his spot ASAP.
Will be good depth. IF he can fix his kicking will be a good player
Maybe one week good, three weeks bad. Elliott was considered a similar player, except now we have seen that Elliott has poise and kicks goals.People judge this kid weekly! One week its how good he is next he is crap. He has value. And hopefully can learn to kick better

A lot more issues than Sinclair atm, Shaw's brain fades being the most pressing.
Was crap today, but he wasn't alone.
Being good the previous 2 weeks. He is crap most weeks
Being good the previous 2 weeks.
He was ok against carlton, not good in rnd 1. Today terrible.I thought he was Average the last 2 weeks
His best is ok, but is bad is about as worse as it gets. He never performs consistently either, he is a one step forward two steps back kind of player. Given we have at least two kids (even with all our injuries) I think could have been more valuable today he has to go. Josh Thomas and Kennedy would have been more valuable today.
Very different.Ridiculous overreaction thread.
If we are going to drop him on the back of one poor game let's also drop Sidebottom, Shaw, and Russell as well.
Very different.
We know what Shaw and Sidebottom can produce, their best is ultimately better than Sinclair and you know that this is just a one-off bad game. Plus I didn't rate Sinclair's game last week. Thought he was pretty good against North though.
And I thought Russell was better than Sinclair.
I'm saying to drop him BECAUSE I thought he was poor last week. The point remains that we should not drop a player who has performed reasonably well so far on the basis of one poor performance. Last week he kicked two goals - as a small forward two goals is a pass mark. The week before he practically tackled every single opposition player. Yes he was poor today, I also feel he was told to be extra defensive today, as I hardly saw him lead or attack the ball, which is unusual because I have often seen him present a lot more than he did today.
I'm saying to drop him BECAUSE I thought he was poor last week.
I'm saying to drop him because his best isn't far from his average, and his best and average don't come quite as often.Last week he had 14 touches, five tackles and kicked two goals. I think your argument of having him dropped is a little unjustified.
Maybe one week good, three weeks bad. Elliott was considered a similar player, except now we have seen that Elliott has poise and kicks goals.
