Until this game he was running at 74% KE.

It's remarkable how much he has learnt in the ~3 months down there. It look him a few weeks to consistently get into positions to receive and help on the rebound, but now he backs his pace and very few are going to be able to catch him.

Sinclair is a GUN down back. F*ck anyone still giving him crap. Marley is a lock-down player on a small defender, rarely gets beaten. Sinks has been reaping the spoils and breaking the lines as good as anyone. Disposal has come good too!

Absolutely no doubt.

Once he gets the footy he is extremely hard to chase down. He's growing in confidence to back his leg speed to get him out of trouble. If he can do it against the Swans, he can do it against anyone.

Marley and Sinkers continually ran us out of trouble in the back half. It's a very safe and damaging way to move the ball forward.

Sinkers is learning how to use his pace effectively as a rebound option. Very impressed with him. Revived his career and may still be best 22 even when Toovey comes back if he keeps playing like this.

Note: He WILL still have weeks where we are like "this guy must be dropped"... But, the fact is that he is playing more good footy than bad. The Swans are a contender and he played his role. well done to the kid. Persist like we did with Toovey. That being said, I have no idea how he, Tooves and Marley can fit in to 1 team. Who do we drop...? Keeffe, Shaw, O'Brien, Goldsack are all locks.

a couple of better than average games does not make up for 30 or so games of horrible football. but good luck to him. if he plays like he did against essendon then he stays in the team. simple as that. however, if he doesn't then he can't stay in the team because his "average" football is not afl standard.

Williams was excellent. He must have had at least 100 touches.Sinclair was very good, but Williams seemed to be part of every second play, emerging the winner more often than not.

I'll eat humble pie on this one, I'm rarely wrong but I was on the Stink.
Loving his pace through the middle, major weapon.
If he can learn to kick a nice low fast pass and hit our forwards on the chest he'll be gold.

Ben Reid was recruited as a forward and played as a forward, it ultimately didn't work out. He went back in the magoos and spent an entire season developing as a key defender. Worked out unbelievably well as I'm sure all would agree.

Maybe it is time to try Sinclair in a different role as a lock down defender/back pocket? We can surely do without him in the team (at this stage) and give him multiple games to develop in the VFL as a small defender. We have nothing to lose but a hell of a lot to gain.
We also mustn't forget that BJ will most likely retire at season's end, then we're really up shit creek with no small pacy defender.

For the record I don't blame Sinclair for yesterday's loss, but I do agree its time to drop him. Not sure who to bring in but it will probably be either Didak or Krakouer at this stage.

And his kick to Cloke in the 3rd one out was just in the line he was running in and not to Cloke's advantage - bang turnover.

He has no ability to kick the ball across his body and doesn't have any sense of depth on his kicks. I think he is a flat track bully and not the sort of player that's going to do it for us in tight games and finals.
