For obscure reference, he's a lot better than John Sinclair*

* John Lennon obscure song circa 1972 - not the best song ever
Released on sometime in New York City

Fantastic handball to Williams with about 40 seconds left who then got it to Grundy and then to Treloar for the inside 50.

Ramsay is also good in the final minutes. Earlier in the game, I loved his fluent kicking style when he roosted that long kick so deftly collected by Fasolo on the half volley and slotted through the goals. I have been an unashamed fan of Ramsay since I witnessed in his first game a couple of his lighting quick low passes, which now seem to be his trademark plays. He is a neat player and he was prolific against the Tigers. Get on his bandwagon folks because you'll look silly very soon if you don't jump aboard while you still have a chance.

Tries his arse off but he isn't the most talented bloke running around. Best 22 for now. Agree With TGG, Ramsay is the perfect small defender that has a neat kick and provides rebound. Stewart who?

Is it necessary to be or to point that out really? Every team has to have B-grade players and his name wouldn't look out of place on the team sheet of a premiership side IMO, it'd be comfortably in the bottom 6 of the 22 but there's nothing wrong with that.

Ramsay and Sinclair really offer a lot down back, Sinclair very good overhead for his size, Ramsay is a very good penetrating kick.

Yep think people forget how good he was before the injuries last year.

If Ramsay looked like Maynard people would think he was the second coming. Can't help but think he there's some unintentional bias because he looks smaller.

It is the Ben Sinclair thread I thought? I would say he could be B grade, probably fits better into C grade though. so yes he could be in a premiership side. Swap him with Duryea and he's a 3 time premiership player.

In support of your argument I give you...Jamie Turner

He's a lot better than Jamie Turner!!!

Sinkers is a good backman and had a pearler of a game on Friday night. He's unfairly maligned on this board.

OK... so you made the point that if Sinkers traded places with Duryea he would now be a premiership player...fair enough I think it's a very good point. In agreeing with you I mentioned Turner....again not a star but a premiership player for us... you then asserted that Sinkers is a lot better than Turner was... a debatable point but irrelevant cos you then shot yourself in the foot by admitting you'd never seen Turner play..
