Yep, we got hammered because we have a heap of 18-20 yr old kids running around. We need some SPINE players - FB, CHB, CHF & FF, around 90+kg.
As far as $$ go, we have lots of room in the salary cap, to say the least!
We had a huge turnover of players (finishing Uni) and subsequently are struggling this year for key position players.

There arnt that many players that deserved to be geting payed in this league apart from all the boys att doon who r worth it

VD, Goorambat had quite a few of their top players out, Tatong also had the crowd support for their 100 year celebrations so they should gain confidence from the win. However it will be interesting to see what happens later in the season with a full strenght Goorambat v's full strenght Tatong. Not too surprised by the Longwood/ Swanpool result. Longwood have not been that impressive regardless what Veggie man thinks.

well i thought we were talking about the cgvfl? of which both teams played in.
What about the Tiges from Yea who won two of the last three CGFL flags - brushing aside VT in 2003 by 20 odd goals and upstaging the highly fancied clubs named above in 2005
