Yep, we got hammered because we have a heap of 18-20 yr old kids running around. We need some SPINE players - FB, CHB, CHF & FF, around 90+kg.

As far as $$ go, we have lots of room in the salary cap, to say the least!

We had a huge turnover of players (finishing Uni) and subsequently are struggling this year for key position players.

Interesting to see Tatong beat Goorambat. Not an easy win by Longwood. Wheres the Veggie Man? Winter not a good time for you?
Im sure the Broady Doon boy's apreciated the week off. All that running around getting heaps of easy kicks and flogging sides would have been wearing the poor sods down!!

VD, Goorambat had quite a few of their top players out, Tatong also had the crowd support for their 100 year celebrations so they should gain confidence from the win. However it will be interesting to see what happens later in the season with a full strenght Goorambat v's full strenght Tatong. Not too surprised by the Longwood/ Swanpool result. Longwood have not been that impressive regardless what Veggie man thinks.

Doubt it matters as they don't have to compete against them - sorry sos, I just couldn't let the CGFL get a mention without adding something, the most competitive little comp I've been involved in with some of the nicest people too I reckon .
