Atkinson and klemke i the best is a decent sign i guess, not hard to star in such an average line up.

can somebody please tell me how zaharakis has been going for bendigo in the past few weeks? is he doing enough to be pushing for selection in the next couple of weeks?

also curious on the form of any others currently playing at bendigo, especially houli, bellchambers, neagle and daniher.

How can Neagle not get a goal.... and only one Essendon listed player in the best... this is worrying.
Thats the reserves results, the seniors game with most of the Essendon listed players is still going (getting pumped as usual). Klemke and aktinson are both Essendon listed so thats 2 of our players in the best.

What the hell is going with Bendigo?

We have a better team than usual, but where getting thumped by Melbourne reserves.

Surely this isnt a good thing for our youngsters, how can they improve like this?

Will be interesting to see any reports of the game, considering the 'bests' are apparently never accurate.

* Who did Hurley play on? (Surely not Newton)
* Was Myers dominant from the midfield again?
* Did Bellchambers do enough/look fit enough to warrant a recall?
* Has Houli shaken off the effects of the flu?
* Was Neagle terrible, or was he merely starved of opportunity?

Why were Klemke and Atkinson in the Bendigo reserves? Especially seeing as the Bendigo seniors look like such a crap team.

I really hope we ditch Bendigo next year.

It's worrying Atkinson is playing VFL reserves. He'll definitely be delisted at years end, you can lock it in now which is disappointing.

I went today and took plenty of notes and stats. I'm just watching the end of the Carlton game and then I'll type up a comprehensive report for you all :)

Got there half time of the ressies. Not shocked to see Atkinson out there played half back had one big run which resulted in a goal and went forward in the last qtr. I didnt think he was that good to be honest just gets lost spectating rather than finding his man but i only saw half the game. Klemke was playing 10mins on 10mins off and in the centre had a fair bit of it, just nursing him back. Nash is injured and Bock must be as well.

Seniors was more like watching a funeral than a football match and i kinda lost interest in the 2nd half so this report might be a bit scratchy. No Spike, didnt see him there either.

German tagged Valenti and claimed another scalp. But Bartram had close to 100 touches, not sure who was on him.

Bellchambers won a lot of hitouts i thought but they didnt go to anybody. Did a little bit around the ground but the opposition's did more.

Houli got better as the game went on, was kicking more than handballing. Close to if not our best.

Myers I think he started on the bench  not 100% sure as i was on the otherside of the ground but wasnt starting in the middle. Wasnt as good as last week but was easily in our top 3.

Jetta same as Myers not as good as last week but was ok again playing back. Played on ball in the last qtr.

Hurley started on Brad Miller and was getting beaten on the lead, not all his fault and went forward again around half time. I think hes better as a forward but his pure football skills are unbelievable. Just the things that cant be taught.

Daniher started forward and then swapped with Hurley. I havent seen anything to suggest he is capable of playing forward. He rarely does anything when there. Was pretty quiet overall.

Zaharakis was on the wing i think, was much improved from last week. Was good but not great.

Neagle just does not get the ball, FF, CHF, backline.

Williams led well in the second half and took a few marks on the lead. First half was a disaster, dropped chest marks, caught holding the ball a few times.

Slattery did a few good things but was average for most of it.

Quinn was forward again and looked lively at times. Was in and out of the game.

I think thats all.
