Good to see the league has been updated as often as the old site was.
Obviously nothing has changed much at league head quarters
 
Some pretty onesided results from this weeks games by the look of it except Strath and Gisborne.
My tips
Gis by 23
Dragons by 81
Square by 120
Flat by 49
Eaglehawk by 82

Results are up tonight.

Dunno what you want - clearances were up to date - what else can you provide before a ball is bounced?

Hey TAITA,
you make a good point - though i would be a little more concerned about what is going on at your local footy club. What was Filo thinking taking on that job ?

Tigers are on the right track after many years in the wilderness - and it's great to see blokes like Ox and Derrick leading the charge.

We need the 'Monkey Plowmans', the 'Bobby Beares', the 'David Noltes' and the 'Shane Muirs' to rebuild this club - not the 'Shane Loveless's' of country footy.

All these blokes are involved - infact everyone who has ever played footy for Kyneton has been contacted with a view to helping out and getting us back where we belong.

It will take time - but rather than whinging about all the kids running off to the city or where ever - we at least have a vision.

It will take time.

I'd just like to add - one of the reasons that I see this as a great footy club, and I love it- yes we have had limited success in the big picture playing in the big league over the entire journey - is people like Eileen Roirdan who held an honorary position on the board for over 30 years, probably near 40 as the Secretary.

That is passion, and I expect your club has the same.

Good win by Gissy in the wet yesterday. Luke Saunders looks super fit and kicked 7 and Tom Waters dominated the ruck. Once Belcher and Barham are fit and playing it looks like Gissy will be back where they belong - playing finals football!!! Tip Toe into Gisborne.

After the final siren would it be too much to ask for the scores in the Kangaroo Flat-Castlemaine game. (Still not updated at the time of this comment the following day).

I was at the Gissy game and watched Strath tip toe into Gisborne. The only negative from a Gissy perspective were the soft people drinking Middies all day.

Well when one team (namely Maryborough) has a higher score than their opponents (namely Eaglehawk) at the final siren, that team usually wins !!! :D Pity my boys couldnt take a leaf outta Maryborough's book and post a win at such a feared away ground !!!

Don't know about anyone else, but most of the time I access the new website for results, it locks up on me.

Thanks TAITA - couldn't be better said!

People need to remember Kyneton is rebuilding and while it will be a while for the seniors, people need to remember there was an Under 16 Team that thrashed by over 200 points, and while our under 18's may have coped a hiding they were filled with under 16's - so there is our future!!

Not to mention what’s happening at the netball courts and Sandhurst didn't walk away with all wins....

So thanks to all the locals, things are certainly getting back on track!!! And let’s hope others in the league can use some of the Kyneton positiveness!

I think your right, i'm not sure many sides (if any) will get within 10 goals of this "Square Machine".
I think there is a real possibility that Weeksy may get a bag of 20 or more in at least 1 game.

Bobby Beare is out at Trenm as a playing coach of the 2s. Still killing it and only a week off turning 50

yeah no good Roota, he can't take a trick at the moment. Looks as though its a fructure in his leg. will miss a few months by the looks.
