Totally agree. That's why I'm so against Strahfieldsayse. There young players seem go be worrying more about when there getting there match payments than their results.

There are some pretty fat pay cheques handed out at Square mate so they get the best of both worlds Paid and Premierships and good on em.

You are just sounding like some bitter bloke who has never been offered a cent and has something against those blokes that do. Also I will point out that I have never been offered a cent as not worth it but don't begrudge those that do.

It is time that this money crap is put to bed and the talk turns to the actual footy which is the thing that we are all passionate about

Davis yor a die hard tiger man true ?, could you be so kind as to answer a few questions about your side.
1: do you think it was a wise idea to recruit a bunch of older blokes ( who all in their day could play) back to the club when their best years are well and truely behind them ?,
Huge waste of money one would think
2: do kyneton have a plan in place to seek permission to leave the bfl and play in a lower standard league , as surely years of being the laughing stock of the comp has taken its toll
3: given the losing culture at kyneton do you believe it has filtered through to the junior level ( clearly so one would of thought).
4: do you think you will get within 30 goals of square anytime soon ?

Storm practically lead all day with Jake Hall BOG and Weeksy bagging only 4 goals for the match (had 2 at half time). Sammy Mildren bagging 8 goals for the Storm including one after the final siren !!!!

Looks like the Storm's excessive player payments are starting to reap the dividends eh Davis24 ???

I know for a fact a lot of the players at strath have been offered a lot more money at other clubs than what they are getting at strath. These players ate all committed to the club with one thing in sight, building a team to win a premiership. I was at the game and they played exceptionally well. Their pressure was fantastic and really damaged square on the rebound. It seemed as though strath got into squares head a bit with square giving away silly free kicks. Strath had their measure from the opening bounce and really stamped sone authority on the league today and proved to all the haters thatthey can match it with the benchmark of the competition!

All the stormers celebrated after the game but I heard many of the older players mention that it was only round 2. If they keep their professionalism up on and off the field storm will be right up there this year.

In saying this I am excited to see how square bounce back next week!!
