He could definitely add to our midfield.
Would love to see him in the seniors; just no room on the senior list.
Yeah was more thinking end of season promotion, i have never really seen him play so i don't know what type of player is. If he has some pace id say promote him, if he is similar to lonergan or another slower player id keep him on rookie list.

IF lee doesnt get promoted and wants to go to another club, it will be win/win like the Jenkins trade. Trading a rookie for a NDP, we could get a 40's odd pick again in a decent draft.

Lee was doing this in the WAFL too. He got taken pick 80 in the rookie draft. There was clearly a thought that he wouldn't be able to convert to AFL level, and given he hasn't played AFL level, and was pretty poor in the one NAB cup game he played, I wouldn't really be surprised if no club came circling.

Totally agree, the difference is that in the VFL he is right under the noses of more AFL clubs week in week out.

Another year of good footy then doesn't hurt, does it?

Having not played at AFL level and poor in 1 NAB cup game means he's unlikely to get picked up into the bargain?

Dunno about that. Crameri, Smith (HAW), Gibson (KAN), Duigan (CAR), Morris (RCH) & Zorko (BRI) all say G'day.

It means he probably hasn't countered the flaws they thought he had, which led to him not getting taken before pick 78 in the rookie draft. It doesn't mean he's a dud, but if his size was deemed the problem, he hasn't countered that, has he? so for me it becomes unlikely a team will try to poach him. it doesn't rule it out, of course. but many will probably rather take a punt on some kid with the last pick in the draft, or try to take another version of Lee in the rookie draft
