Interesting reading over these. Pretty much between 3 an 5 best 10 players have been missing the last 6 or 7 rounds.

That's a lot of top end talent for any team, more so one lacking depth.

Pearce wasa big loss. His form was exceptional. Really hope he has a big 2020

Mark Duffield made a comment when gaff went out of wc team last year that we make the mistake of judging a player loss as the entire loss of the player rather than the quality difference between the player and their replacement. e.g. the team didn't lose the quality of gaff they lost the difference in quality between gaff and sheed, which is not much!

In saying this, Pearce is irreplaceable in that there is no one else on our team who brings what he does for the team. Logue is a good player but he doesn't bring anywhere near the footy brain and leadership qualities that pearce does, there is not a player on the list that can bring what he does to the team. You only have to look back to the brisbane game where he directed ryan to move into space which ended up winning us the game, and now hes not there! Disappointing that his loss isn't being talked about more as to a reason the team is struggling, cause it is playing a big part!

I think you’re over stating it or overrating Pearce. He’s good but he’s not that good.

possibly overrating how good he is, but not overrating his role or importance to the team
