Wiggo was coming good just before he got injured. He's definitely in the best 22

I'm not sure Deluca will go too well this year........he has had no preseason due to a foot injury and it will take him quite a while to get his fitness back.

Will be interesting to see who Pagan has as the extractor out of Johnson and Bentick.

Interesting in todays Herald that French feels he will be the loan ruckman, but wants to get forward to.
I guess DeLuca, Prendergast and a couple of others can be pinch ruckman to help out.

On loan from Port and the deposit was draft pick #18 although if we got it back, we probably have to give it straight to the AFL.

Gee McGrath went from starting 18, to bench, to emergency, to not even named.
I still remember him drilling Fevola from 50 with glorious footskillls against Richmond at Telstra last year.
Actually including him gives a grand total of 3 lefties in the whole 22. (Johnson & Deluca the others)
I'd have thought that would ensure he gets one side of the ground down back.

You're right igt, McGrath could easily come off the bench and take Wiggo's spot in the backline. I too was impressed with his form in the second half of the season. Couldn't fathom why he was not playing that well in the VFL prior to that.
