Hope the cobwebs are out for skip and hind

Martin has done enough for me

Ridley - Stewart- Kelly
Redman - laverde - hind
Heppell - Caldwell - merrett
Perkins - Jones - Langford
Snelling - Wright - cox
Draper - stringer - parish
McGrath - shiel - Martin - Francis
E: guelfi - Hobbs - Bryan- Smith

Tall fwd line, but when you've not got better options

Round 1 vs the Cats

C D.Shiel J.Caldwell A.McGrath
HF J.Stringer H.Jones K.Langford

Francis or Guelfi. We run a 7 player rotation through defence. Mason is 100% part of that.
I hear ya but mcgarth + zerrett will be rolling back this yr?

Think we have to give Francis 1st crack for this confidence.

They'll both still mostly play midfield. Redman is gonna play R1 barring injury

So the ever changing beast continues to ever change.

Kelly - Stewart - Redman
Ridley - Laverde - Hind
McGrath - Shiel - Durham
Perkins - Stringer - Martin
Wright - Francis - Wanganeen
Draper - Parish - Caldwell
Ham - Heppell - Smith - Cox
S: Cutler

Next Cabs: Cutler - Ham - Baldwin - Reid - Hobbs - Phillips

Currently on the shelf for the foreseeable future: Merrett, Langford, AMT, Jones, Snelling

That is a side that can excite provided they play together and will probably play in fits and starts similar to last year but sheesh am I glad we did not trade away any future draft picks like a lot wanted to do last year.

I'm not sure if Shiel will be back so quickly. Side strains can take a little while

Different game.
Assuming our kids all work out, come '23/24, what are we looking at?

Ridley - Reid - Kelly
Cox - Laverde - McGrath
Merrett - Hobbs - Langford
Perkins - Jones - Martin
Baldwin - Wright - Tippa
Draper - Parish - Stringer
Shiel - Snelling - Hind - Durham
E: Francis

I’m hoping by the years end we are no longer playing the likes of Smith, Heppell, Cutler, Stewart and Guelfi - these guys should be depth only if we want to seriously get anywhere as a team. My current best 22;-

Francis - Zerk - Kelly
Ridley - Lav - McGrath
Merrett - Shiel - Durham
Perkins - Jones - Martin
Stringer - 2MP - Tippa

Draper - Langford- Parish

Caldwell - Snelling - Hind - Cox
SUB - Redman

Hobbs, Reid and Wanga next in line

The team playing the Crows today is missing 6 of our best 22 - it’s going to make it very tough!

C: McGrath - Shiel - Langford
HF: Snelling - Jones - Perkins
F: Wright - Stewart - Stringer

I: Caldwell - Hobbs - Durham - Martin

Of course we have injuries but unfortunately I don't think Heppell is anywhere near best 22 when we're reasonably fit.

If McGrath is playing on the wing then Durham probably misses for a defender.

interesting progress this year

Fully fit & firing 22 for me would be;

Ridley Zerk Kelly
Laverde Reid Redman
McGrath Shiel Durham
Martin Wright Snelling
Jones Stewart Stringer
Draper Parish Merrett
From Hobbs Perkins Caldwell Langford Hind, Cox, Bryan Brand.

D'Ambrosio will be an interesting one to watch for.

Where it falls apart for us is depth after that.
Bryan looks good. Cox I still don't know where he plays. So good taller options there.
Reckon Brand is tracking for the Zerk spot too.

midfield doesn't have a lot coming through.
Small forwards as well.
Need to be the priorities this off-season

We need to find Cox’s position stat. We seem particularly bad at that
