Hey guys, if you were picking the best or your favourite 22 since 1990, what would it look like? Here's my take:
B: Dylan Grimes, Alex Rance, Chris Newman
HB: Nick Vlastuin, Duncan Kellaway, Bachar Houli
C: Matthew Richardson, Trent Cotchin, Shane Edwards
HF: Joel Bowden, Tom Lynch, Kane Lambert
F: Nathan Brown, Jack Riewoldt, Daniel Rioli
R: Toby Nankervis, Dustin Martin, Dion Prestia
Int: Matthew Knights, Wayne Campbell, Brett Deledio, Shai Bolton
I get that Daniel Rioli is probably a weird choice but when we were good he was integral with his speed and pressure, can't imagine us not having that. His 2017 season is enough for me to lock him in but we know he also turned into a gun half back later too.
And yes I left out Darren Gaspar, I wasn't honestly a huge fan, he had a lot of spuddy moments. I had Astbury in at first but then remembered Kellaway.
Could almost take Ivan Maric over Nank but Nank is a triple premiership player so he gets the spot. I don't count Brad Ottens as he left too soon, but on talent he'd have been the best for sure.
